Insulation, blackout & privacy screen

The multi-layer thermal construction ensures strong insulation performance in every season. The cab in particular is thermally problematic: in summer, a lot of heat enters the vehicle, especially through the large window surfaces, and in winter, a lot of heat is lost, as cold penetrates inside via the footwell and air vents. The cab partition completely and effectively shields this area.

Stealth Camping

At the same time, the thermal curtain, with its black exterior, ensures maximum inconspicuousness. Whether someone is in the vehicle cannot be seen from a distance or with a direct view into the cab. This makes wild camping or overnight stays possible even in urban areas. Even at night, no light escapes to the outside when the interior lighting is switched on.

Integrated magnets assist with pushing the curtain together and keep it neatly folded, so it can be quickly docked to the B-pillar without the need for cords, straps or Velcro fasteners. It does not need to be stored separately, remains ready for use at all times and requires no additional storage space.

Use when stationary and while driving

By partitioning the cab, less room volume needs to be heated or cooled when stationary. In winter, the auxiliary heater is significantly relieved, and in summer, the interior remains protected from heat for longer.

Depending on the seating position, the cab partition can also be used while driving. Then, only the cab needs to be heated or cooled, not the entire vehicle.

Important to note: If the driver's or front passenger's seats are pushed back particularly far, the curtain cannot be completely closed.

Mounted without drilling

The existing interior trim of the W447 is used in such a way that the attachment can be done completely without drilling holes. The sliding rail is simply inserted into the abutting edge of the headliner. This makes installation particularly quick and easy, and the entire system can be removed without residue at any time if required. This is particularly advantageous for leased vehicles or if permanent modifications to the vehicle are to be avoided.
